FASHION PRODUCTS - TIES

Company and Uniform Ties

Company ties and uniform ties are purchased by those discerning businesses who want to present a consistent, professional and uniform company appearance.
Different industries demand different things from their uniforms, so not only do colours and designs have to fit your company image, the material chosen for the necktie is equally important.
In addition to our highest grade silk ties we also carry the more stain resistant microfibre tie.

Silk Ties

Silk is the most commonly used fabric for luxury brand name neckties.
The very fine thread in the silk fabric gives an incomparable shine and soft feel.
Silk ties are generally more delicate and as such they are better suited for one-time events such as:
Company award ceremonies, festivals, trade shows, etc.

Microfibre Ties

Microfibre is a blend of Polyester and Polyamide.
When compared to the silk tie, a microfibre necktie is much more stain-resistant but without sacrificing
the elegant shine and luxurious feel.
Combining these advantages with a lower cost of about 30% over silk, makes the microfibre tie the preferred choice for the daily uniform tie.
Service companies, in particular restaurants, are our number one customer for this type of tie.

The Effect of Colours

The language of tie is spoken by the colour chosen, whereby each colour represents a different mood and sets a different tone. Unbroken, bright red colours have the most emphasis. Blue ties make a serious impression and allow excellent combinations with most colours in the male wardrobe. Pink and green neckties along with other pastel colours give a warm and friendly impression and are mostly worn for warm and sunny days in the spring and summer. When matching a tie to a particular suit and shirt, the choice of the colour plays a much larger role than the pattern and design of the tie. The occasion also has some influence on the colour of tie one chooses. The black tie and the white tie are classic festive ties.
