The Four in Hand Knot

Also known as the simple or schoolboy knot, this is used by around 80% of tie wearers, it is thought to be the most popular type of knot as it is the easiest to learn and fairy quick to tie. The finished knot is quite narrow but slightly lopsided, although more than acceptable for everyday wear.
